Founded in 2002 as a Cardiff landscaping business, we handle the groundwork and installation ourselves, so you deal with one company throughout.

Start by visiting our display buildings in Wenvoe or designing online with the Lugarde or PentHaus configurator. Our sales team then helps you settle the size, glazing and extras, and puts the full price in writing before you commit. Frequently Asked Questions
Often not. Most outbuildings count as permitted development, though Wales has its own rules, separate from England’s. Under the Welsh rules:
a. Outbuildings can’t cover more than 50% of your garden.
b. The maximum height is 4m for a dual-pitched roof, 3m for a single pitch and 2.5m for a flat roof.
c. Anything within 2m of a boundary can’t be taller than 2.5m.
d. In National Parks, AONBs and conservation areas, an outbuilding more than 20m from the house is limited to 10 square metres.
Lugarde is timber, with four ranges and sizing in 10cm steps. PentHaus is contemporary, with composite cladding and set designs. Both can be insulated for year-round use.
Yes, and it’s the most common use. Adding an electrical pack gives you power for lights, a computer, and a heater. On PentHaus rooms, the wiring runs through patented channels built into the panels, so cables stay hidden. Lugarde buildings are wired to suit the design. Any connection back to your house consumer unit is notifiable work under the building regulations, so it’s carried out by a qualified electrician, and you receive a certificate for it.
Yes. Lugarde sizes go up in 10cm steps, and you pick the walls, roof, doors, windows, finish and insulation. With PentHaus you choose the size, windows, doors, roof type and one of six cladding colours. The seven PentHaus set designs are a quicker, lower-cost option built from the same materials.
It starts with the base, which our own groundwork team prepares first. Smaller buildings can often go up in a day or two, while larger or more detailed ones take longer. The wait before that depends on the building and the time of year, as spring and early summer are the busiest. Ask when you visit, and we’ll give you the current lead time rather than a number that goes out of date.
